Waiting-list privacy notice
DRAFT, to be reviewed by a solicitor. This notice covers the Síob pre-launch waiting list only. The Síob app will have its own, fuller privacy notice before it launches. Version: waitlist-consent-v1-2026-10-15.
Who we are
The controller of your data (the organisation responsible for it) is HUELVA SKYRISE LIMITED (registered in Ireland, CRO 821280). Contact: info@huelvaskyrise.com.
To ask anything about your data, or to use any of your rights, email the address above.
What we collect
- Your email address.
- Whether you’d mostly be a driver, passenger or both.
- Your usual trip (from and to), if you choose to tell us.
- The date and time you joined and gave consent, and the version of the consent wording you agreed to.
That’s all. We don’t ask for your name or phone number. The site sets no cookies and uses no analytics or trackers.
To stop automated abuse, we limit how often the form can be sent from one internet connection. For this we keep a one-way scrambled code (a SHA-256 hash) of your IP address for one hour, then it is deleted automatically. We never store your IP address itself. Our hosting provider may keep its own short-lived technical logs (see “Who handles your data”).
Why we use it
Only to email you when Síob launches in your area, and to understand roughly how many drivers and passengers are interested on each route so we know where to start.
Our lawful basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give by ticking the box on the form. The box is never ticked for you. You can withdraw your consent at any time, and that won’t affect anything we did before you withdrew it.
We will not sell your details, use them for advertising, or share them with anyone for their own marketing.
How long we keep it
Until Síob launches plus 12 months, or until you ask us to remove you, whichever comes first. Then we delete it.
Who handles your data
Cloudflare, Inc. hosts this website and stores the waiting list (Cloudflare Pages and Workers KV) on our behalf, as our processor under its Data Processing Addendum.
Cloudflare KV is a global service. We cannot guarantee that the waiting list is stored only inside the EU: copies may be held in Cloudflare data centres outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Cloudflare relies on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses for these transfers. VERIFY Cloudflare’s current DPA, DPF certification and KV data-location options before launch (sources: cloudflare.com/cloudflare-customer-dpa, dataprivacyframework.gov).
No one else receives your data.
Your rights
- Access: ask for a copy of what we hold about you.
- Erasure: ask us to delete it. We will.
- Withdraw consent / unsubscribe: at any time, by emailing the address above. Every email we send will also tell you how to leave the list.
- Correction: ask us to fix anything that’s wrong.
- Complain: you can complain to the Data Protection Commission, Ireland’s data protection authority, at dataprotection.ie. We’d appreciate the chance to sort it out first, but you don’t have to ask us before going to them.
We aim to reply within one month, as the law requires.
Age
The waiting list is for people aged 18 or over.
Changes
If we change this notice in a way that matters, we’ll tell you by email before the change applies.
